  1. Worth a read, interesting info. After 10 days of direct observation in rural Zimbabwe, it’s clear to me women in rural areas don’t have equal rights. That’s ok with some of the women I interviewed, for they see it as culture and custom. Others feel differently. The urban situation involves more equality.

    The book is good reading for anyone in development work or gender issues surrounding Zimbabwe.
